Drawings

I document the mundane spaces and transitory places that slip between the cracks of history.

Drawing is a way of strengthening the mind-hand connection through the embodied act of placing pen to paper. It is a way of reassembling the fragments of memory into cohesive memory images. As an artist, I use this means of mark making to dwell in the everyday experiences of place, to pull together passing observations, to interweave these recollections into new yet strangely familiar memory images. In this way,

Drawing is remembering.
